About Us

Trust your recovery & rehabilitation to the hands of experience.

Nearly two decades ago, Paula K. Dillon Mays founded one of Washington’s first woman-owned physical therapy practices. Since then, Paula has combined her own experience and capabilities with those of her team of therapists to provide the highest standard of physical therapy. Today at Paula Dillon Mays Therapy Clinics, we are proud to be known as much for our longevity and experience as for our know-how, skill and results.

Owner / Director of Physical Therapy

“I was always interested in science and human anatomy. I also loved sports, playing three in college and others on my own time. In fact, it was a skiing accident that set me on the path to becoming a physical therapist. After surgery on my knee, I moved on it wrong. When a therapist bent my knee forcefully, it was horribly painful. I thought, ‘There has to be a better way.’ And the die was cast.

“I became the University of Montana’s first female athletic trainer. I went on to an athletic training assistantship and a master’s degree in anatomy at the University of Florida. When the University of Montana started its physical therapy program, I was invited to join.

“Today, I’m still motivated to ‘find a better way,’ and I have a passion not only for what I do but for doing it to the highest level possible. And in the nearly 20 years that I’ve dedicated myself to outstanding physical therapy, I’ve learned time and again the value of putting my heart into doing whatever is necessary to make a real difference in people’s lives.”
